How do I book a stay?

How many guests are allowed?

The cabin has a maximum capacity of eight guests.

What is the heating system like in the cabin?

Please refer to the digital Cabin Guide sent to you via e-mail one week prior to your stay. All heating instructions for the main cabin and Bad House, as well as instructions for all cabin functions, are listed in this guide.

Do I need to bring toiletries?

Bring your own toiletries - shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc. The cabin comes fully stocked with paper goods (toilet paper and paper towels), so you won’t have to worry about those items.

Can I do my laundry at the cabin?

Yes, a washer and dryer is readily available for guest use. Please follow the instructions in the House Guide you received via e-mail to operate the machines.

Does Bad House have an attached bathroom?

This bedroom does not come with an attached bathroom. Guests will have to walk about 10-15 seconds to the main cabin for bathroom usage. The pathway is lit by string lights above the jacuzzi.

Is there a light in the jacuzzi area?

There is a string light above the jacuzzi area and an outlet to plug them in. We recommend plugging them in just before sundown to ensure the pathway to Bad House is lit up for the guest(s) staying in this fourth bedroom.

How many cars can I bring?

The driveway will fit up to 6-7 large cars. Street parking is available off the property if you plan to bring any additional cars.

Do I need snow chains for my tires?

Idyllwild does get some seasonal snow. Snow chains are highly recommended if there’s snow to get you up the mountain road. You’ll find up to date road conditions for Highway 243 here.

Can I bring my dog(s)?

The cabin welcomes dogs with open arms. Dog owners should keep in mind that any damages will be deducted from the security deposit and guests are 100% responsible for their dog(s). Please bring the necessary gear to cater to your dog(s) - bed, food, bowls, etc. Bring a crate if you know your dog isn’t potty trained or able to wander without supervision. We are putting our trust in our guests’ hands!
